Reading more like an epic poem, Funtime Dan addresses many of the pressing racial issues that have plagued the United States while trying to offer an alternative to what is and what can be. Dan discusses the power of fear that keeps us divided, the fear of being the ones to be the black sheep of society, and hope and faith that will guide us toward a better society that fulfills the ideology that this country was established upon.
