Motion and immobility are juxtaposed in this space voyage. James Brooks fills space with multiple pops of color, specifically in the galaxy’s arms. Red, white, and blue arms create a sense of motion while the spacecraft floats in place almost as if stuck in place, unable to move any closer toward the center. Words written on the spiraling arms can be said to fuel the motion of this galaxy with charged words such as “regenerate,” “reorganize,” “restructure” calling for something new and better.
