Kashink

Kashink is a female French graffiti artist who was chosen to paint a mural for Long Beach Walls (FKA POW! WOW! Long Beach) 2016. The mural is located at the LGBTQ center on 4th street. Her style of street art depicts cartoon-like 2-D characters and sometimes hand painted messages. Kashink uses bright neon colors and pattern to activate her work. The mural is an homage to the Orlando nightclub attack on June 12, 2016 and the Paris attack on November 13, 2015. Depicted in her signature style are neon characters dancing behind a cosmic galaxy background. Kashink also incorporated the message “Let’s keep dancing. In Memory of the victims of Orlando and Paris 2015-2016” to honor the victims.
