The Arts Council has partnered with Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles for a Dia de los Muertos Celebration at 14th Street Park in the Washington Neighborhood on November 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally, on November 8, from 6 to 10 p.m. Senator Lena Gonzalez, is seeking local artists and community organizations to submit their ideas for altars for her Dia de los Muertos popup event on the Promenade between 3rd and 4th Street. Applicants can participate in one or both of the events.
