I’ve loved art and Long Beach for as long as I can remember. I’ve dabbled in a little bit of everything, experimenting with creative writing, painting and photography. In my painting work, I’m most inspired by the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists in their bold use of color and line to capture the visual world in brushstrokes. In photography, my biggest inspiration is the imaginative and critical portraiture of Cindy Sherman, but I also create photostories documenting my own day-to-day life.
