The “Long Beach History Mural” depicts Long Beach city’s early beginnings and early settlers and landowners of the mid-20th century. The mural is painted in a realistic style and depicts portraits of ancestors of long-time resident Norma Abalos in front of the Bixby mansion. The intersection of Long Beach Blvd. and 7th Street in the 1930’s, Early ranch owners; Abel Stearns, John W. Bixby, and Fred Bixby. The 300ft mural is a reminder of the city’s rich history.
