Alan Vidali

Alan Vidali resides between Los Angeles and Mexico City, both physically and emotionally. He holds a BA in Film Cinematography from Centro de Estudios en Ciencias de la Comunicación and an AA in Photography from Escuela Activa de Fotografia. He is currently pursuing his MFA at Cal State University Long Beach.

Vidali’s work is systematic, orderly, and meticulous; on the limits of compulsiveness and command. His pieces point to the absurdity of life, reality, pseudo-choices, and of course our beliefs. It serves as a response to the overstimulation of cyclic trivialities from our daily routines and pushes against the senseless and frantic accumulation of the information in the era where data is the new currency.
