Lynn Azali

Connecting with someone without any personal or verbal exchange is my practice in paint illustration. I love when visual engagement invokes common emotions between artist with viewer; and viewer with viewer. Art connects humans, art connects community, art connects humanity.

Born and raised in San Fernando Valley, California, I studied architecture at California Polytechnic University, in San Luis Obispo (2000-2005) and Scandinavian Design at Denmark International Study, in Copenhagen (2003-2004). I currently reside in Long Beach, California; and work full time as an Architectural Designer.

I aim to capture the illustrative spectrum of moods felt at the beach, sunsets, skating, surfing, swimming and soaking in the tub. Although these images are specific to my life experience, I know others are familiar to these sensations. What is beautiful is connecting with someone completely outside my demographic and environment, and sharing a common vision through a painting.
