Objective:
Our goal is to produce a show that provides each exhibitor the opportunity to show his or her work, supports the creation of original art and craft, and fosters art appreciation.
About the Exhibition:
The exhibition will be held at the City of Los Alamitos Community Center- 10911 Oak St., Los Alamitos, CA 90720
Exhibitions will be available for viewing:
Friday, March 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Award Ceremony to be held Saturday, March 15 at 6:00 p.m.
The City does not charge an exhibition fee or receive a commission.
The City’s insurance does not cover art exhibitions. Furthermore, the City of Los Alamitos is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that may occur to Artist’s work while it is being displayed in the Community Center gallery.
Artists must self-insure for damage, loss, or theft to their work.
Artwork description cards will be placed next to the artwork. Cards will be created and provided by the City.
Awards:
A closing ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 15 at 6:00 pm. Winners will receive a ribbon, certificate, and gift card to the Art Supply Warehouse in Westminster in Westminster.
1st place – $100 gift card
2nd place – $50 gift card
3rd place – $25 gift card
Winners will be contacted starting Saturday, March 15 after the conclusion of judging. Winners will be contacted via phone and invited to participate in the closing ceremony at to receive their award in front of an audience.

Elementary Division (Pre-K-5th grade) Awards: 1st-3rd place
Middle School Division (6th-8th grade) Awards: 1st-3rd place
High School Division (9th-12th grade) Awards: 1st-3rd place
Adult (High School Graduate+) Division Awards: 1st-3rd place
Older Adults (60+) Division Awards: 1st-3rd place
Three Dimensional Awards:

Important Information:
Two-dimensional artwork MUST be ready to be HUNG for display, including wire or hanging bracket on the back.
Artwork must have artist name, title, and phone number written on the back.
Art applications must be submitted by March 8, 2024. No late entries.
Artwork may only be delivered during designated delivery time. No early or late drop-offs will be accepted.
Space is limited. Artist may only submit up to 3 art pieces. Art larger than 4ft wide must be pre-approved.
Art Drop Off: Thursday, March 13 from 7:30am – 5:30pm at the Los Alamitos Community Center- 10911 Oak Street, Los Alamitos, CA 90720
Artwork Pick Up: Saturday, March 15 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
*Artwork not picked up 2 weeks after the conclusion of the event, will be donated.
