Flatline Gallery is pleased to present Sunflowers for Ukraine. A pop-up group exhibition focusing on the sunflower motif interpreted through artists’ varying perspectives. The sunflower, or soniashnyk in Ukrainian, has taken on new layers of meaning, emerging as a global symbol of resistance, unity, and hope. The show aims to gather a community of artists to stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people, and to sell artwork for the benefit of a Ukraine Fund, assisting the most vulnerable communities and people in Ukraine. Majority of the proceeds benefit Ukrainian humanitarian aid and Flatline Gallery’s exhibition programing (75/25 split). The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday August 6, 1-4 pm and gallery hours on Sunday August 7, 12-4 pm.
