Cinta Vidal Agulló

Spanish visual artist Cinta Vidal Agulló was chosen to paint a mural for the Long Beach Walls (FKA POW! WOW! Long Beach) 2016 Street art festival. Vidal’s mural explores themes of space and time. The artist illustrated several mid century furniture orbiting gracefully across the wall. The furniture and appliances are a combination of old and modern, an Apple laptop and a black rotary telephone. Agulló pays special attention to perspective as each item is three dimensional. The combination of old and new investigates how humans relate to different dimensions of time and the changing perspectives of people throughout the world. Time stands still and allows the viewer to engage in Agulló’s perspective of time.
