The Mantel Gallery is excited to announce an exchange with Swedish micro-gallery A1 Konsthall. A1 Konsthall has sent us an original work by Jens Regeler and we in turn have sent them an original work by Los Angeles based artist Carly Chubak.

For over ten years, Jens Regler, known by his moniker ‘regelverkett’, has been an influential force within the vibrant stickerscene. As both an accomplished artist and a visionary curator, he has left an indelible mark on the global streetsticker landscape. His passion culminated in the creation of Stickerfest, a prestigious streetsticker exhibition that resonates far beyond its physical boundaries.
But Regler’s impact extends even further. In a groundbreaking move, he established Scandinavia’s first stickermuseum in the picturesque city of Malmö, Sweden. This cultural haven celebrates the ephemeral art form, inviting visitors to explore the intersection of creativity, rebellion, and expression.
Regler’s art is a powerful testament to Freedom of speech and expression. His pieces delve into provocative themes, with a particular focus on atheism. In one striking work, the defiant gesture of a raised middle finger places the viewer squarely in the flipper’s perspective. The subject of this piece? None other than Haibatullah Akhundzada, the Taliban leader responsible for countless acts of violence against humanity. Regler’s unapologetic stance challenges conventions, urging us to confront the darkness and reclaim our voices.
