Jake Davies

Brothers Jake and Luke Davies migrated from Melbourne Australia in 2014 to Long Beach California, the City that their Mother and her siblings had been raised in. In 2015 they formed OF LIMBO, a mix of the many musical genres they grew up on, fused into a package of fun Rock N Roll that emphasizes creating a fun outlet for the community to let their hair down and free their inhibitions.

With the addition of local legend Bearwulf Rob on the bass and backing vocals, and Iowa import Christopher Bug Bristol, the OF LIMBO line up was complete.

OF LIMBO quickly became known locally in Long Beach and in Hollywood for their wild and fun party performances at venues spanning everywhere from the Observatory in OC and San Diego (opening for Wolfmother) to regulars at Dipiazza’s, Alex’s Bar and Hollywood’s Viper Room.

The local success scored them a deal with international booking agency TKO which has had them touring the country with large rock acts such as Blue Oyster Cult, Hinder, Blacktop Mojo and Joyous Wolf.

OF LIMBO has used it as a time to hone our craft and record more music, while also opening a local home studio that provides affordable, high quality recording to other local up and coming Long Beach musicians such as Bloom LBC, Ricky Boba, ADP333 and London Guzman of The Buttertones.
The Studio Bonito is more of a labor of love to the musicians of Long Beach than some kind of commercial endeavor to suck money out of artists like so many other big studios appear to be operating.
