The Arts Council for Long Beach and artist Angela Willcocks have partnered for UNPLUGGED, a performance series that aims to open up a dynamic cyclical dialogue between Long Beach Communities and public transit.
We are looking for performers, including but not limited to:
acoustic musicians, spoken word, rap, choir, chamber, opera, performance, singers and divas. This is open to professional or amateur performers and open to organizations or individuals.
There will be six different performances on the Long Beach Transit buses. Performances will take place between April 17 and May 30. Performance times vary between morning and evening and weekdays and weekends.
The first audition will take place on Thursday, March 12 and auditions will be ongoing at the Arts Council offices. Details will be provided to performers who submit an application.
Selected performers will receive a stipend for their performance on the Long Beach Transit Bus.
