The Mantel Gallery is excited to announce our first of six shows under the banner “Hexagon” that we have planned for 2024. “Hexagon” is made possible in part by a generous grant from the LB Arts Council.

Our first show of 2024 will feature new work by Deb Adams-Welles. Deb Adams-Welles is a painter/installation artist who has been working in both Los Angeles and the Roaring Fork Valley since graduating from Otis College of Art and Design (18’). With an interest in the perceptual overlaps in music and visual art, her latest body of work considers the idea of high fidelity and its discernible quality of perception. Substituting textiles for paint, her surfaces are ‘uncompressed’ and reflect and absorb light differently to create a hyper-sensory viewing experience. Her work is shown at the Michael Warren Contemporary Gallery in Denver and the Floating Gallery in Los Angeles.
