Kontrapunktus Presents BACH & HANDEL: SOLI DEO GLORIA

KONTRAPUNKTUS makes its return visit to Long Beach this January to with our special winter presentation commemorating the timeless music of G.F. Handel and J.S. Bach-SOLI DEO GLORIA, which is supported in part by an arts grant from the Arts Council for Long Beach.

Led by acclaimed Sphinx Competition First Place Laureate and Concertmaster, HANNAH WHITE, and featuring a world-class chamber ensemble that hail from the prestigious Juilliard School and Colburn School–BACH & HANDEL: SOLI DEO GLORIA is more than a concert, but an event! KONTRAPUNKTUS will be performing the immortal works of German contemporaries who are arguably the two most influential composers in all Western music-George Frideric Handel and Johann Sebastian Bach.

Our program will also feature the return of the incomparable, AUBREE OLIVERSON. Ms. Oliverson will be performing Bach’s, “Violin Concerto in A Minor.”
