Council District 2

The neighborhoods of Downtown, East Village, Bixby Park, Franklin, Hellman, Rose Park, Bluff Heights, and Carroll Park call Council District 2 home.

The Arts Council for Long Beach has identified 37 public artworks in this district. Robert Haas’ “History and Industry of Long Beach” is the oldest having been completed in 1991. District 2’s most recent work is ZYNB’s “Faith”, which was finished in 2017.
