The Arts Council for Long Beach has identified more than 50 works of public art within the boundaries of Council District 1 of the City of Long Beach. Highlights include John Valadez’s mural “Welcome to Long Beach” and The Found Theater.
Council District 1 comprises the neighborhoods of West Village, Downtown, Willmore, Magnolia District, Westside South, Lower Westside, Washington School, Central, Saint Mary’s, and East Village.
