The intern will assist in the day-to-day tasks of UAM in-house design work, both digital/web and physical promotional material, under the supervision of museum staff.  Working directly with the Associate Director of the UAM and the Public Affairs and Communications Specialist, this position will offer the opportunity to interact with all areas of the museum and provide the intern with an understanding of how design is intrinsic to exhibition, programming promotion, and museum branding.  The major focus of the internship will be to develop material specifically to be used for the upcoming spring 2019 and fall 2019 exhibitions and programs, including invitations, posters, advertising and a programming calendar/mailers, as well as online and e-content.
