On Wednesday, October 28, from 5–6:30 p.m., the Arts Council for Long Beach’s monthly Open Conversations event welcomes Long Beach Public Access Digital Network (PADNET.tv) and Work Evolution Laboratories (WE Labs). The Arts Council will also present our new Risk and Innovation Grant and answer questions about all of the grants we offer.
PADNET.tv is a community media center and public access television station that provides low cost services to artists to make their own media. PADNET.tv Director Lisa Mastramico will talk about the center’s available services, including media training and the use of professional video equipment and access to its studio.
WE Labs is a downtown co-working community and serves as the home base for a variety of start-ups, freelancers, entrepreneurs and artists. CEO Robbie Brown will talk about WE Labs’ services, including shared co-working space, an art gallery and more.
The event will be at WE Labs, located at 235 East Broadway, Suite 800, on the 8th floor.
