The Pacific Island Ethnic Art Museum (PIEAM) presents Carrying the Pacific: Pregnancy, Birth, and Parenthood on view from Saturday, July 20, 2019 to Wednesday, December 31, 2019. This exhibit is the first of its kind that centers on Pacific Islanders’ birthing traditions, experiences and voices. An Evening for Educators: I Learn America Viva Events Center Join us for an evening of interactive activities based on the I Learn America project, youth-led storytelling workshops that spark creative “home-grown” community conversations around migration, identity and education.
