Mike Jacoby is a Long Beach-based singer-songwriter who’s been performing on the scene for years. Armed with an undying love for rock ‘n‘ roll music and a multi-faceted musical talent that stems from an appreciation and propagation of quality songwriting.
Billy Rose Band
Billy Rose grew up on the Caribbean island of Antigua. As a boy he listened to the Grand Old Opry and learned the standards, including the songs of George Jones, Charlie Pride, and Buck Owens. Billy’s original songs are right up to the standards of his heroes! His trio includes an upright bass and a lead guitarist who doubles on crying steel guitar.
The Rumble (until 9pm)
The Rumble is a four to five member band that includes: 4 vocalists, electric bass, guitar, various ukulele types, percussion, mandolin, harmonica, and drums. We perform original music mixed with covers written by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Lovin’ Spoonful and various others. Most of the covers are from the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s.
Gregg Young (until 9pm)
Award-winning Gregg Young playing guitar with beats, loops, and tracks that include bass, drums, percussion, and some keyboards to sound like a full band.
TED Bluegrass Band
TED Bluegrass Band (Tom, Evan, Don and recently added Luke), performs traditional bluegrass music with heavy old time music influence. TED won the band competition at the Topanga Banjo, and Fiddle contest a few years back .
Popoki House formed in 2015 in Long Beach, California, the unlikely love child of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists Katie Blanchard and Taeri Schiffman, partners in both life and music. Popoki House is the alchemical magic that occurs when two krazy cat ladies with completely different experiences of music merge to create the unique and entertaining blend of music we call Pidgin Americana.
