The Historical Society of Long Beach has been holding See, Sip & Savor to raise funds for over ten years. Our unique See, Sip & Savor event welcomes a limited number of guests to wander amidst lovely spaces, enjoy beverages, hors d’oeuvres, stimulating conversation and historic architecture. In 2017 the Historical Society of Long Beach brought the event to Bixby Knolls for the first time.
This year we added another exciting feature to See, Sip & Savor. Before the tour, from 4pm to 6pm, guests have the opportunity to see a one-of-a-kind presentation by Ronald Dean Lindgren, Partner in Killingsworth Stricker Lindgren Wilson Architects. Lindgren will present “An Architectural History of Edward A. Killingsworth FAIA”, an illustrated presentation detailing Killingsworth’s work in Long Beach and beyond. The presentation will be held at the Petroleum Club of Long Beach, located at 3636 Linden Ave., Long Beach 90807.
