As part of the Art Council’s Creative Long Beach Internship Program, a partnership with Cal State University Long Beach (CSULB), the Arts Council hired CSULB student Elizabeth Munzon as marketing intern for the spring semester. Elizabeth is an artist pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Painting and a minor in Marketing.

Elizabeth recently spent a semester in Tianjin, China, where she attended Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. She has been a volunteer with the Museum of Latin American Art, a marketing and art intern for the Boyle Heights Community Youth Orchestra and an art and marketing volunteer for special events like Dine Out Long Beach.

During her internship, Elizabeth will learn the WordPress platform and help update the Arts Council’s website artist registry, calendar of events, venue map and artist call pages as well as assist with our grants database.
