Popoki House

Popoki House is a Long Beach, California-based guitar/ukulele duo whose skillful blend of Americana, folk, blues, jazz, country, and Hawaiian music – together with their soaring vocal harmonies – create the unique and entertaining style they call “Hawai’icana,” also the title of their upcoming debut album due out in 2019!

Popoki House is comprised of singer-songwriters (and life-partners) Katie Blanchard (guitar) and Taeri Schiffman (ukulele), who discovered by accident the unique alchemy that occurs when they combine their disparate musical experiences and skills with the aloha of their relationship.

Popoki House’s energetic and entertaining performances will make your feet move and your heart rejoice, proving once and for all that it only takes ten strings and two hearts (and a couple of crazy cat ladies!) to create beautiful Hawai’icana music!
